The PDRZM is a project aligned with the efforts of the Green Morocco Plan (PMV). It is structured around two main components:
- Component 1: the development and enhancement of agricultural value chains through capacity building for producers upstream in the chains, aiming to improve yields, promote rational use of inputs and water efficiency, and add value to selected agricultural products.
- Component 2: the management of natural resources, climate change adaptation, and production diversification through optimized use of natural resources, restoration of ecosystem services, and the development of technologies to adapt to climate change.

Within the framework of this study, RESING carried out the following activities:
- Analysis of documents related to environmental safeguards, climate change resilience programs, and other projects and programs addressing gender.
- Diagnosis of the integration of the gender approach in environmental safeguard and climate change resilience programs and projects.
- Development of a strategic vision for integrating the gender approach into environmental safeguard and climate change resilience programs.
- Preparation of an action plan identifying entry points for integrating gender into the policy and strategy for environmental safeguard and climate change resilience.
